Where is my booking? Trouble locating your booking? How to locate a PNR Reference?
If you're having trouble accessing your booking or account, it's possible you've booked on a different website.
If you've booked on our website ( www.raileurope.com ), your booking reference will begin with RE-.
You will be able to locate the booking from your account (provided you have registered on our website), and used the same registered email address to make the booking.
If you are unable to access the booking, chances are that:
- You have made the booking using another email address. In such a case, you can register with the email address used to make the booking, and the booking should reflect in your "My trips" section of the new account.
- You have entered an incorrect email address (email address with a mistake) in the booking. In such a case, connect with our customer support team to have your email address updated correctly on the booking.
- You have booked elsewhere. In such a case, get in touch with the customer support team of the website you made the booking with.
- The booking that you attempted with us, might not have gone through successfully. This information can only be checked and confirmed by our Customer support team by checking on the booking system back end, hence you would need to contact the team accordingly.
How to locate a PNR Reference
A PNR (Passenger Name Record) is a unique booking reference provided by the rail carrier for your journey. Depending on the rail company, it may also be referred to as a booking reference, reservation code, or carrier reference.
Where can I find my PNR?
1. Check your confirmation email
After completing your booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing your travel details. The PNR reference is usually displayed within the ticket information or booking details section.
2. Open your ticket or travel document
For most rail carriers, the PNR can be found directly on the e-ticket, PDF ticket, or mobile ticket. Look for labels such as: PNR, Booking Reference, Reservation Code, Carrier Reference, or Record Locator.
3. Access your booking through My Trips
If you have a Rail Europe account and use the same email address when making the booking, sign in and navigate to My Trips. Select the relevant booking to view the ticket details and associated references.
4. Check carrier- specific information
Some rail carriers provide a separate PNR or booking reference in addition to the Rail Europe booking reference. This information is typically available on the ticket itself or within the booking details.
Unable to find your PNR?
If you cannot locate the PNR reference:
• Verify that you are viewing the correct booking confirmation email.
• Check all attached ticket PDFs and travel documents.
• Ensure you are logged into the correct Rail Europe account.
• Contact Customer Support and provide your Rail Europe booking reference for assistance.
