How to Download Your Print-at-Home or Mobile Ticket

Once your booking is confirmed on Rail Europe, accessing your ticket is quick and simple. Depending on the ticket type selected during booking, you can either download a Print-at-Home (PDF) ticket or access your mobile ticket directly on your device.

Accessing Your Ticket

You can retrieve your ticket using one of the following methods:

1. From Your Confirmation Email

• After booking, you will receive a confirmation email.
• Open the email and locate your ticket attachment.
• If your email includes a download link, use it to retrieve the ticket.

2. From Your Rail Europe Account

• Log in to your Rail Europe account.
• Go to My Trips.
• Select the relevant booking.
• Click on Download Ticket or View Ticket.

 Print-at-Home (PDF) Tickets

If your ticketing method is a Print-at- Home ticket:

• Download the ticket as a PDF file.
• Open the file and print it on size A4 (US letter size).
• Ensure the barcode/QR code is clearly visible.
• Carry the printed ticket with you during your journey.

Tip: You may also keep a digital copy on your device, but carrying a printed version is recommended unless stated otherwise.

Mobile Tickets

If your ticket method is a mobile ticket, it must be displayed on your mobile device:

• Download or open the ticket on your smartphone.
• Ensure your device is charged before travel.
• Present the ticket (QR code/barcode) directly from your phone when requested.

Tip: Take a screenshot of your ticket or save it offline in case of limited internet access.

Retrieve via download link

• You can retrieve your ticket using the download link provided in your booking confirmation email.

Note: Once the PDF ticket has been downloaded, it is no longer eligible for refund or exchange.

 Collect at the station

• Your ticket must be collected at the station before departure, either from a self-service machine or the ticket counter.
