Refunds & claims
OUIGO Spain: tickets are generally non-refundable unless the booked train is cancelled or affected by an eligible disruption.
If OUIGO cancels your train, the carrier will normally contact you with the available options. Depending on the disruption, these may include:
- Rebooking on an alternative OUIGO service within the permitted rebooking period.
- A refund for the affected journey.
- Compensation where applicable for eligible delays or late cancellations.
Refund or compensation requests following an OUIGO Spain disruption may need to be submitted directly to OUIGO using the instructions provided in the carrier's disruption notification.
For unused tickets that are not affected by a carrier disruption, the fare conditions selected at the time of booking apply. You can review your ticket conditions in your Rail Europe confirmation or under My Trips.
