Overview

Iryo is a private Spanish high-speed operator—a joint venture between Air Nostrum and Trenitalia, running ETR 1000 trains on Spain's high-speed network.

Classes

IRYO offers several fare and comfort options, with different levels of flexibility, seating and onboard services.

• Inicial: the most competitive option, including hand luggage and cabin luggage.
• Inicial Superior: offers greater flexibility, including free same-day timetable changes, subject to availability.
• Espacio Silencio: a Quiet Coach option designed for passengers aged 13 and over who prefer a quieter environment.
• Infinita: provides additional comfort with XL leather seats, greater flexibility and additional luggage benefits.
• Infinita Bistró: the most complete option, including onboard food and beverage service delivered directly to the passenger's seat.

Refund policy

Refund eligibility depends on the fare selected at the time of booking. The applicable fare conditions should always be checked before confirming the refund.

• Inicial: eligible for a partial refund when cancelled within the conditions of the fare.
• Inicial Superior: offers greater flexibility for changes and cancellation, subject to the applicable fare conditions.
• Espacio Silencio: refund and change conditions follow the applicable fare conditions.
• Infinita: offers a higher level of refund flexibility than the lower fare options.
• Infinita Bistró: offers the most complete fare benefits, including onboard catering, subject to the specific fare conditions.

Luggage, bikes & pets

• Luggage allowances vary by fare and may include hand luggage, cabin luggage and large luggage depending on the ticket purchased.
• Bikes: one per passenger, disassembled in a bag or case, subject to the applicable size and transport conditions.
• Pets: pets up to 10kg can travel in an appropriate carrier, subject to IRYO's conditions and applicable charges. Assistance dogs travel free.

Food & Drinks on board

IRYO offers a range of food and drink options onboard through its HAIZEA gastronomic service. Options include a café/bar service, mobile trolley service and meal options that can be added to selected fares.

• Infinita Bistró: includes a full onboard dining experience, with food and drinks served directly to the passenger's seat.
• Market Menu: passengers travelling with the Inicial, Inicial Superior or Infinita fares can add the Market Menu when purchasing their ticket for an additional charge.
• Café Car: passengers can purchase a selection of drinks, snacks and coffee from the onboard café.
• Mobile Bar: a trolley service provides passengers with drinks, snacks and coffee during the journey.
• Food and drink selection: the onboard offering includes Spanish-inspired dishes and tapas, snacks, hot and cold drinks, coffee, wine and other beverages.

Good to know: Meal service is not included in the Inicial, Inicial Superior, Espacio Silencio or Infinita fares. Passengers travelling in these fares can purchase the Market Menu separately or use the onboard café and mobile bar services.

Boarding & check-in

Boarding opens 30 minutes before departure and closes 2 minutes before—gates don't reopen after that. Ticket/ID checks happen before reaching the platform.
