What exists today

Luggage policy

You can bring luggage on DSB trains, provided it can be stored safely without inconveniencing other passengers.

• Luggage can be carried on DSB trains with maximum dimensions of 100 × 60 × 30 cm.
• Luggage should be placed above, below, or between the seats so that it does not take up space needed by other passengers.
• Items exceeding these dimensions may be accepted if train staff determine that they do not interfere with train operations or other passengers.
• Large or heavy luggage should be stored in the designated luggage areas where available.
• The train aisle must remain clear at all times for safety and evacuation purposes.

For large items such as skis, prams, or large musical instruments, suitable storage space may be required. Staff instructions should always be followed.

Pet policy

DSB allows passengers to travel with pets, subject to specific conditions regarding size, transport and where pets are permitted on the train.

Small pets

• Small dogs and other small pets can travel free of charge when kept in a carrier, transport bag or cage for the entire journey.
• The maximum carrier or cage dimensions are 100 × 60 × 30 cm.
• The carrier or cage must be placed under or above the seat, on your lap or in another designated luggage area.
• Pets and their carriers must not be placed on passenger seats.

Large dogs

• Large dogs require a child ticket.
• The dog must be kept on a leash and remain on the floor throughout the journey.
• Only one large dog is permitted per journey.
• A seat reservation for the dog may be purchased where available to ensure sufficient space.

Where pets are allowed

• Look for the pet pictograms showing where dogs and other pets are permitted.
• Pets are not allowed in DSB 1' or in the Quiet Zone, except for guide and service dogs where permitted.
• Guide dogs and service dogs travel free of charge.

Food & Drinks on board

Food and drink facilities on DSB trains can vary depending on the train type, route and service. Passengers should check the facilities available for their specific journey before travelling.

Good to know: Not every DSB train provides the same food and drink services, so passengers should not assume that catering will be available on every journey.
