Where to Locate the Terms and Conditions

When you book your train tickets with Rail Europe, the booking confirmation email contains links to both Rail Europe's Terms and Conditions and, where applicable, the railway operator's fare conditions.

Where can I find the Terms and Conditions?

  1. Open your booking confirmation email.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the email.
  3. Look for the Terms and Conditions section.
  4. You'll find links to:
    • Rail Europe's Terms and Conditions
    • The railway operator's Terms and Conditions (Conditions of Carriage/Fare Conditions), if applicable.

These documents include important information about:

  • Ticket exchange and cancellation policies
  • Refund eligibility
  • Baggage allowances and restrictions
  • Passenger rights
  • Travel conditions set by the railway operator

If you've already downloaded your ticket

If you no longer have access to your booking confirmation email, you may still find the railway operator's terms and conditions referenced on your ticket or by visiting the operator's official website. For example, Eurostar tickets include a reference to the Conditions of Carriage and fare conditions within the ticket details.
