Seat change policy by Rail Carrier

Depending on the rail carrier, fare type, and travel class, you may be able to change your assigned seat after booking. In some cases, seat changes can be arranged directly with the rail carrier, while in others they are subject to fare conditions and seat availability.

    Travelling to and from London

    • Available on all fare types:
      • Eurostar Standard
      • Eurostar Plus

    Travelling between Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and Germany

    • Available only on:
      • Eurostar Plus
      • Eurostar Premier
    • Not available on Eurostar Standard fares.

    How to change your seat

    Seat changes must be made through the Eurostar operator portal. Rail Europe cannot process these requests.

    Fees

    There is no charge for changing your seat.
